Hi, We are 7 super readers from A2, St Patricks School in Napier. We are reading at Level 21 and we love books!! We haven't read The Kuia and the Spider yet but will watch it tomorrow. We hope it will be a cool story.
Welcome Super Readers! I hope you enjoy the book tomorrow. I wonder if you have already got some ideas about the book. What do think it will be about? Do you know what a kuia is? In Tui, the children predicted that a kuia might be a weaver. They thought that because they could see the weaving in the pictures. Tomorrow we are going to find out what a kuia is by looking in the glossary.

Hi Super 7 from A2, How did you like the story? There were some new words for us so we were pleased to find the glossary. One of the words we liked reading and saying was 'hoha', then we had a good talk about what it means. We also thought to kuia's kitchen was interesting. Fantails at Kaipara Flats School
