Ruma Ono Kaniere School Hokitika - Our second reading of "A Booming in the Night"

Kia ora all. Ruma Ono is excited to be taking part in the #NZ Junior Read Aloud. This is our second reading of "A Booming in the Night". We really enjoyed the story and are beginning by looking at the illustrations and how the artist has created texture using water colour in the wonderful pictures of the birds, animals and nikau palms. We will be posting the results of our artwork soon.

  1. Hi Ruma Ono. What a lovely photo of your class listening as your teacher reads the story to you. I hope you have enjoyed the story as much as I have.
I notice you have been looking at different types of birds and you have pictures of them on your whiteboard. I am looking forward to seeing the artwork that you are working on.
